Dearest N,

Dearest N,

How are you?

It’s strange ,right, that I am writing a letter to you…but sometimes cliches is just what we need . At some point in our lives,we meet some people we never thought we would meet, never thought we would need, never thought we would miss…

But we do, don’t we? You were one such person…remember our ONLY coffee date?of course it wasn’t a date for you,it was a breather ,right? But I can call it a date because it was a first for me.

The purpose of this letter is to thank you for my little infinity within the three weeks..Not all infinities are infinite…But that’s where time comes in; time makes them eternal; captured as memories; out little infinity.

All those times you tried making plans for my weekend but I denied because they didn’t include you…Today I will let you in secret, you raised the bar a bit too high by that perfect coffee date…sometimes I feel that is is good we never had a second one, or it would mar the memory of the first one!

So I write to you , in name of our little infinity; those small packets which are never with us but are ours to keep; may you get all the happiness in life. you weren’t someone I needed ,but your cameo in my life made it a thousand times more beautiful.

Love,

S

A glimpse is only an impermanent thing. Sometimes cameos are better than company, because cameos give you that lasting feeling. A lovely letter to make me reflect on the company one keeps, or don’t keep. Don’t let that cameo coffee keep you up. ;o)

It’s interesting that we can reflect on our particular life, and recall so many situations with absolute clarity of feelings. Those same situations were probably minor stopovers in our overall journey….. but yet ……………… 🙂
