Mirrors

How strange is the relation

Between the mirror

And the object

Being reflected

We want to be acknowledged

For what we have

And it shows us what we don’t

We want to be praised

For what we achieved

Instead we are shown our losses

We want to see our angels

Instead we get our devils.

It’s almost like a parallel reality

One we know but would give

Anything to avoid !

Couldn’t be further from the truth, and that’s why we call em’ reflections. Reflections of what could have been rather than what is. Our minds are the best magicians ever with the way they can cast illusions. Wonderful write, and it makes you open your eyes to force you to see what’s in front of you.

I just now made a post featuring a photo of mine using a prominent reflection. Seems like we’re on the same wavelength 🙂 nicely done.
